Michael Angelo Zambetti, of Campbell Hall, NY entered into rest with our Lord, his Savior, on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at his favorite place to be, home.
Born on June 20, 1957, in the Bronx, NY, to Maurice & Angela Zambetti, He fulfilled a life of giving of himself to those in need and ever so more to those he loved. Michael’s greatest legacy will be his strength & his passionate Love he so freely showered upon his family. Walking through life and always by his side, was his Heavenly chosen wife, Peggy Zambetti, whom he divinely met & captured her heart while working in Orangeburg, NY. Together they established ZAM Electric, Inc., a prominent electrical contracting company enabling them to work as a family business. Michael lived a simple life surrounded by family. His most cherished & greatest joy in life were his grandchildren. All his Grandchildren joyfully anticipated their visits with their Papa, and all would freely confess that he was the “ONLY” and “BEST PAPA”’ No words can express the sorrow & emptiness that will ever be present without Michael.
Waiting his presence again are his Wife, Peggy Zambetti, His Son, Michael M. Zambetti & Emily Zambetti (Wife), His Son, Joseph A. Zambetti & Corinne Zambetti (Wife), His Daughter, Kathryn Zambetti & Billy Proscia (Fiancé), His Grandchildren, Nicholas & Scarlett Zambetti, Taylor Zambetti, Joseph & Vincent Zambetti, His Father, Maurice Zambetti, His Mother, Angela Zambetti, His Sister, Jacqueline Maffei, His Brother, Frank Zambetti, His Sister-in Laws, Sally Anne Theriault & Lou Ann Morbidelli, His Brother-in-Law Joseph Cebollero, His Nieces, Jaqueline Maffei-Lewis, Micaela Morbidelli, Makenzie Cebollero, His Nephew, Joseph Maffei, His very best friend, Alfred Cambria, His Dogs, Apollo & Rosie and several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.
A family statement to read:
How do we let go
How do we find comfort
How can we gather up the fragments of our broken hearts
Perhaps by realizing the One who gave us you
Has called your sweet name and set the path that leads to His open and waiting arms
Giving you now, eternal rest in the place He has prepared just for you
Yes, we are weighted & gladdened by the thought
That God Loved us so, He gave us you
This will be the pillar on which we hold on to, to see us through
Memories of the endless and abundant Love in which you showered upon us
With each moment we were graced to share with you
This will be the hope to which we strive to share.
A Memorial Service will be set at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made in the name Michael A. Zambetti to the Animal Shelter of your choice.
