Mary Jane Murphy, age 94, of Goshen, New York passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023. Mary Jane was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 28, 1928. She is predeceased by her husband, Howard Murphy, her brothers, David DeFatta and Alfred DeFatta.
She leaves behind her brother Paul DeFatta and wife Marsha, sons Howard Murphy (Susan) and David Murphy (Madeline). Two daughters, Grace Rivano (Gene) and Ann Mallon (Peter) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Mary Jane will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A mass of Christian burial will occur Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St Mary's Church, 42 Goshen Ave, Washingtonville, New York 10992, followed by a burial at St Mary's Cemetery, 2 Fr Tierney Circle, Washingtonville, New York 10992.
