Mariano was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a parking garage attendant for Teamsters Local 272 as well as a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Lourdes Council 5890.
He was the loving husband of Josephine Cutaia for 67 years. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Panzarella of Wallkill; sons, Michael and his wife, Mercy Lou Panzarella of Milford, PA, and Peter and his wife, Diane Panzarella of Bethel, CT; daughter, Anna and her husband, Vincent Willeburgher of Goshen; sister, Rose Randazzo of Valley Cottage; grandchildren: Gregory and his wife, Theresa Panzarella, Matthew and his wife, Carrie Panzarella, Vincent and his wife, Lynnette Willeburgher, Scott and his wife, Rebecca Willeburgher, Albert and his wife, Jessica Stoppy and Brianne, Andrew, Steven Panzarella; great-grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Matthew, Olivia Rose and Joshua.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 15, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Washingtonville.
