Margeret Nukk of Washingtonville, a library clerk for the New York Public Library, entered into rest June 19, 2010 at home. She was 94.

The daughter of Charles Caliendo and Anna MacAuliffe, she was born May 16, 1916 in the Bronx. She was the widow of Michael Nukk.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved playing the piano, cooking and being around people. Margeret was always there to help her family.

Survivors include her sons, George H. and wife, Dianne Nukk of Franklin Lakes, NJ and Dor Alan J. and wife, Mary E. Nukk of Washingtonville; grandchildren: Katherin Nukk-Freeman, Randall M. Nukk, Kristine Karelis Nukk, Michael T. Nukk and Tara E. Nukk; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 25, from 7-9 p.m. at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Seamonville Cemetery, Monroe.
