Louise Palmiotti Farino

Louise Farino of New Windsor, NY entered into rest on November 24, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was 94. Louise was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 27, 1917 to Nicholas and Mary Palmiotti. She was the widow of Salvatore Farino. Louise was a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family and will truly be missed by all. She is survived by her sons, Frank and his wife Barbara Farino and Nicholas and his wife Mary Farino; daughter, Barbara and her husband Salvatore Somma; grandchildren, Salvatore and his wife Marguerite, Michael Farino, Camille, Carl and Salvatore Somma and Louise and her husband Michael Couey and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 9:30-11:45am at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011, 12pm at St. Mary’s Church, Washingtonville, NY. Burial will immediately follow at 2:45p in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
