Jennifer Gioia Stapleton-Wanamaker

Jennifer Gioia Stapleton-Wanamaker, born August 7th, 1984, of Rock Tavern NY passed away on July 3, 2023 surrounded by her closest loved ones. Jenn leaves behind her husband of eight years William Wanamaker, their son Lucas Walker and daughter McKenzie Grace whom she loved tremendously, parents John and Cathy Stapleton, brother Richard Stapleton and sister-in-law Tammy Stapleton.

Jenn is also survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Amy and John Donnery, nephew Jack and niece Gioia, father in law Arthur (Bill) Wanamaker, brother, and sister-in-law Nicholas and Kaitlyn Wanamaker, their children Charlotte and Nora, and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jenn was a phenomenal wife and an even better mother to her beautiful children. Jenn was a bright light to all who knew her. She had an infectious smile and laugh. Jenn loved spending time with her children and being surrounded by her friends and family. Jenn was a generous, kind-hearted, strong, resilient woman. Jenn was someone who offered help and advice to anyone who needed it without hesitation. She had a firecracker personality; little in stature but mighty. Some might call her a spit-fire. She was a great listener, a hard worker and always made sure to complete a task to the best of her ability whether it was work-related, giving relationship advice, or sharing a new mom-hack that she had researched. All of her relationships were unique and special.

Losing Jenn has been a tremendous loss for the countless people who loved her. Her final days were spent filled with visits and love from family and friends from all stages of her life. The world will never be the same without her but even during this time of extreme sorrow, Jenn brought everyone together, family and friends, and has created a strong bond that cannot be broken.

Visitation for Jenn will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at David T Ferguson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Washingtonville Cemetery, North St, Washingtonville, New York.
