Jennie M. Forbes

Jennie M. Forbes of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on January 6, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 83. Jennie was born in Tuxedo, NY on August 9, 1929 to Charles and Geneva Lewis Bush. She was the wife of John H. Forbes. Jennie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Jennie was a volunteer with F.I.S.H. and Hub, both of Blooming Grove, NY. She was also a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church of Washingtonville. She is survived by her husband, John H. Forbes, at home; children: David and his wife, Sophie Kovatch of Florida, NY, John Forbes Jr. and his companion, Penny of Rock Hill, NY, Wanda and her husband, John Bredeneck of Hiram, GA, Jacquelin and her husband, Tony Barnes of Campbell Hall, NY, Dawn and her husband, Jim Volkmer of Chester, NY; a sister, Lorraine and her husband, Danny Phillips of Narrowsburg, NY; 24 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 3 to 5 p.m., at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A service will follow at 5 p.m. Cremation will be private.
