Jeanne M. Giery

Jeanne M. Giery, of Blooming Grove, NY, entered into rest on September 14, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. She was 81. The daughter of the late George Dean and Regina Dooling Burger, she was born in South Amboy, NJ on February 11, 1931. Jeanne married James T. Giery and they moved to Blooming Grove 39 years ago from Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James, and their children: James T. Giery and his wife, Catrine of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jeanmarie Spadaro and her husband, Neil, of Campbell Hall, NY, Dawn T. Blades of Ellenville, NY, and Sean M. Giery of Campbell Hall, NY. She was "Mima" to her six beautiful grandchildren: Jimmy, Sean, Olivia Leigh, Sam, Jarrid and Karen Irene. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ll a.m. in St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Route 208, Washingtonville, NY. Interment will follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale NY.
