Irene was born in New York, NY on May 18, 1920 to Joseph and Sophia (Bajczewska) Kojalowicz; Irene worked as a bakery worker for Joseph Zablocki & Sons Bakery in Brooklyn, NY; Irene is survived by 3 daughter's JoAnn Mroz of Brooklyn, NY, Michele and her husband Anthony Jacaruso of Calverton, NY and Eileen Mroz of Brooklyn, NY; Loving grandmother of 2 and great grandmother of 1; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday September 16, 2016 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Stobierski Lucas Gardenview Funeral Home, 161 Driggs Avenue, Brooklyn, NY; Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday September 17, 2016 10:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 607 Humboldt Street, Brooklyn, NY; Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Washingtonville, NY
