He was born in the Bronx, NY on January 20, 1928 to Max Peck and Pauline Lampert.
He was a retired messenger for a brokerage firm, a Korean War veteran and an avid Yankees fan and poker player. He loved New York City and shopping. He was an adoring father, grandfather and brother.
Hyman was the widower of Ida Bernstein.
He is survived by sons, Jeffrey Peck of Washingtonville and Scott and his wife, Mindy Peck of White Plains; daughter, Rose Peck of Sunnyside; brother, Philip Peck; granddaughters, Jamie and Aimee Peck all of Washingtonville. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Ashlee Peck.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, from 9-12 p.m. at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville. Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY.
