Helen Campbell, 69 took her last breath on earth and her first breath in heaven on October 21, 2017 while being held in the loving arms of her 3 daughters and her husband. The family is comforted knowing she was met in heaven by her son Arcadio who made the journey in 2014. Helen lived with a strong faith in God and instilled that same faith in her family. Her love for God, her 4 children, 2 grandchildren and her husband was the center of her world. She had a playful childlike spirit and would often be seen laughing with her husband down the aisles of her favorite store. Their relationship was like that of 2 young teenagers and they were inseparable. Their bond was further elevated when the two underwent a kidney transplant operation and James Campbell donated his kidney to his best friend. As the eldest of 3 children she often took on the role of a second mother to her younger brother and sister.
Helen was a nurturing and generous woman. Her children remember her cooking an extra turkey for thanksgiving "just in case" someone didn't have a place to go for the holiday. Everyone that knew her also knew you would leave her home with a belly full of some of the most delicious dishes you had ever had. She opened her home to anyone that needed, including a young neighbor that had lost his home to a fire. Everyone called her MOM and to her they were all her children.
Helen will be truly missed and her absence will create a void in the lives of those that knew her. She now joins her son and will celebrate her 70th birthday on Thanksgiving Day in heaven.
