Gloria Delaney

Gloria Delaney, a resident of Washingtonville, NY, entered into rest on October 12, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, she was 87. Gloria was born in Meriden, CT on February 19 1927. She was the Widow of John J. Delaney. Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Gloria was an avid Yankees and Giants fan, she loved Joe DiMaggio as well as gardening. She is survived by her daughters Cathy and her husband Jeff Felter and Patti and her husband Phil Ludewig; grandchildren, Nick and his wife JoEllen Ludewig, Kim and Andy Ludewig and Christopher Romano; great granddaughter, Emma Ludewig; her sister Mary Romano as well as many nieces and nephews. Gloria was predeceased by her brother Bruno Macchietto. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 16, 2014, from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home 20 North St Washingtonville, NY 10992. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014, 9AM at St. Mary’s Church, Washingtonville, NY, and Burial will follow at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
