David Jose Gonzalez

David Jose Gonzalez of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on April 17, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was 65. David was born in San Lorenzo, PR on March 4, 1947 to Pablo and Maria Gonzalez. He was the husband of Vivian Gonzalez. David was the operator of a yellow cab in NYC, former Corrections Officer and Vietnam Marine Veteran. David woke up every morning at 5am to go to the office and was a kind person who always looked at the positive side of life. David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Gonzalez; Son, Steven and his wife Nicole Gonzalez of Washingtonville, NY; Daughter, Cindy Gonzalez and her wife Rhonna Clark of Rehoboth Beach, DE; Brother, Fredo Gonzalez of Long Island, NY; Sisters, Lucy Mensing of Long Island, NY and Anna Morales of MA; grandchildren, Alaina and Trinity Gonzalez and Christina and Kaylah Ramos as well as several Neices, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 2-5pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 23, 2012, 10am at the funeral home.
