Charlotte Waldo of Salisbury Mills, formerly of Huntington, a retired bookkeeper for Superior Surgical Mfg. Co., and a 30-year resident of the area, died December 25, 2010, at Elant at Fishkill. She was 90.

The daughter of the late Edna and William Grimm, she was born September 9, 1920 in Ferguson, MO. She is the wife of the late Daniel Waldo.

Charlotte was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville, a member of the New Windsor Senior Citizens’ Club, and a member of the Cornwall Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Denton and her husband, Thomas, Ret. Col. Daniel Waldo and his wife, Martina of Riverside, CA; two grandchildren, Thomas Daniel Denton of Long Beach, CA, and Kristi Lynn Denton of Salisbury Mills. She is predeceased by a granddaughter, Jodi Anne Denton.

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 30, at St. Mary’s Church, Washingtonville. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Washingtonville.
