Barbara A. Smith

Barbara was born on July 29th, 1958 to the late Donald and Lillian (Bonn) Lacijan in Queens, NY.

Barbara was passionate about many things throughout her life. She had a great sense of humor. She loved a good laugh, bowling, enjoying a great meal, and most of all spending time with her family. Throughout the years, she has loved and cared for many animals including her birds, horses, chickens, cats and her two beloved dogs Daisy and Missy.

Barbara is predeceased by her son Reinaldo Ferrer and survived by her daughter Brooke and her husband Craig, her sister Laura Lawrence and her brother-in-law Danny Lawrence, her 3 grandchildren Michael and Anthony Filippini and Georgia Ferrer. She is also survived by her niece Pamela Lowe and her nephews Daniel (Nicki) Lawrence and Donald (Cait) Lawrence.

Per her wishes, no formal services will be held. The family encourages those who knew her to celebrate her life in their own way, remembering the joy and love she brought to those around her.
