Annette was born on August 12, 1944 to the late Vincent and Josephine (Peraino) Risolio in Brooklyn, NY.
Annette was passionate about many things in her fulfilling life, but first and foremost was her devotion to her family. A true matriarch, she inspired her children and grandchildren through her support, compassion and unwavering values. She was there for everyone in good times and in difficult times, and was always there when you needed her. There was never a concert, sporting event, birthday, graduation or moment of importance that she wouldn’t be there for, and always put the needs of others ahead of her own.
Annette, like her husband Raymond, was an animal lover. Her dog and cats were her family over the years, and there was nary a donation envelope to the local shelters that wouldn’t go without a small contribution of support.
And last but certainly not least, Annette was an avid sports fan! All who were fortunate enough to spend even a small amount of time speaking with her would quickly learn of her love for the Mets, Jets, Knicks and Rangers!
Annette will be dearly missed. Her smile, warmth and energy were unmatched, and will always be remembered fondly by those who knew and loved her.
Annette is survived by beloved sons, Gregory Filippini and his wife Jill and Craig Filippini and his wife Brooke, cherished grandchildren, Michael, Kristy, Anthony, Katie and Ava. She is also survived by many, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
