Belated condolences for Mr. Tom, who was a great guy, a mentor when I was on the Hill and one hell of a man. He turned me on to true public service, hooked me up with working for his mom regarding the Embassy Holy See and taught me how to make and drink Hurricanes. 

His mom was my pal and he was my  hero.

I miss him and Miss Lindy. Every time I walk past 623 Bourbon St., he and his mother and their gorgeous parties flood my memory with a big smile.

My condolences to the Boggs family. I previously worked for the McLean, VA office of Patton Boggs, where his son Doug was Managing Partner.  Although I never met Mr. Boggs personally, through word-of-mouth, I always heard nothing but positive comments about him.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. I may not have been one of the close circle of fhose who will miss him dearly, but my infrequent encounters with Mr. Boggs were memorable for his deep voice softly speaking some small truth. I am a former employee, one who was laid off in the first wave of downsizing. One of my memories ... I stepped into the elevator one day to find him there, on his way down to the lobby ... looking as though he was on his way to a golf course perhaps. Striking up a quick conversation about vacations, he revealed that he had been fishing the past few days and had just come in for a moment. When I asked if he had caught anything during his time away from the office, he said that he had not ... and paused before adding it had been a good time for a little introspection. I will never forget the moment. I will never forget the man. Peace.
