On Monday, May 31st, 2021, of Washington D.C. Loving Father of Charles Donnelly-Justus, and son of the late Chester Lee Justus and Dorothy Crouter. He is survived by his brother, Earl Justus. Ralph was raised in Washington, D.C., graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Ralph specialized in telecommunications, working with the National Association of Broadcasters, Consumer Electronics Association, Electronic Industries Alliance, and finishing out his career as a patent examiner for the United States Patent Office.
Ralph dedicated himself to a life of service along with exploring his newfound faith. He was a dedicated parishioner at the Church of the Little Flower in Bethesda, MD, occasionally combining two of his loves as a drummer in the musical accompaniment. He constantly expanded his spiritual life by never-ending service engagements with various programs in his community. Ralph will be remembered as a man who always said yes, no matter how inconvenient. His love of God and his fellow man set a standard most of us could only dream of.
Family and friends will be received at JOSEPH GAWLER’S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave. at Harrison St., NW, Washington, D.C. on Tuesday , June 8 from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday , June 9 at 12 noon at the Church of the Little Flower, 5607 Massachusetts Ave., Bethesda, MD.
