Mimi was my lab partner at UMass. I remember driving her to Syracuse to visit Tse. I was also an usher at Mimi and Tse's wedding in Amherst. She was a great friend. She left us too soon. Rick

Dance rising star, generous friend, marvelous wife, adorable grandma and the most extraordinary courageous woman, Mimi deserves our love and respect. She is now dancing her tango with the stars and her waltz in heaven.

Kam, I just saw Mimi's obit in the Post.  She was such a beautiful person; full of life with a wonderful sense of humor and gracious to all. My condolences to you and your family. She will never be forgotten by anyone who knew her.

Dear Kam,

I was so very sorry to hear of Mimi's passing. She was well liked and respected by all of us who knew her. My family and I extend our heartfelt sympathy.

Mimi was a wonderful friend and mentor.  I learned a lot from her during my time at Creative.  My best to her family and to the Creative family during this time.

Mimi -  you were a wonderful colleague and friend. You lit up the room when you elegantly and cheerfully made an entrance. You always had kind words no matter the circumstances. You radiated warmth and love. 

Not having a green thumb and noticing your beautiful orchids, I once asked for your advice on how to tend to my orchids. You gave me some tips and the flowers bloomed beautifully. Then for the past several months, they went dormant, but I continued to follow your advice. 

I returned to my office on January 4th, the day after you passed, still in shock about it all. And there one of the plants had blossomed a beautiful, full orchid flower with others on the way. At that moment I knew that your spirit was nearby keeping watch over the company and colleagues that you loved so much.

We miss you so much. Rest in peace knowing that you made a difference in so many ways!!

She was in every way the grande dame of Chevy Chase Ballroom, and her beauty, elegance and graciousness will be sorely missed.  We are better people for having known her.  Our sincerest condolences. I remember first meeting Mimi and being in awe of her position, elegance, and beauty. I can't even how much here family will miss her. She was amazing.

Mimi was truly a great woman.  She was a consummate problem-solver, approaching challenges with creativity and calm determination as well as true caring. And she was an excellent model for finding balance in one's life - offering warm hospitality to staff members, keeping her office beautiful with orchids, staying fit and having fun with the ballroom dancing she and Kam so loved, and creating beautiful knitted pieces. My most sincere condolences to her family as well as her Creative family.

I was so shocked and deeply saddened by the loss of Mimi. Mini was such a graceful woman, whatever she did and wherever she went, she always had a beautiful smile. Her dedication to learning dancing was an inspiration to me and her spirits will continue to inspire me on the dance floor. I will certainly remember her each time I step in Chevy Chase Ballroom. where she left so much hard work and such a beautiful smile. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Mimi, you were someone very, very special to me and to all who knew you.  Your always precise insight and knowledge was freely and supportively given and was only matched by the level of grace and calm by which you provided it.  Mimi, I will always remember and miss you. My heart goes out to you in your sorrow, our sorrow.  Mimi was an exceptional individual and how fortunate I am that she was a part of my life. I will remember always her graceful, beautiful, warm presence. She mentored me through the years and was my friend. Mimi will always be in my heart and memories, but also in my daily approach to being. She taught me so much about life and living. I will forever admire her fortitude, optimism, wisdom, and humor. She had such zest for life and energy for giving. We were greatly blessed by her presence.

I am at a loss for words and cannot begin to express my sorrow. Mimi was an incredible woman; she was my mentor and friend.  We are all truly blessed to have been graced with her friendship, generosity and love. Mimi taught me so many things, but the lessons I keep close and hope to emulate are to be humble and grateful for what we have and what we don't.  

Mimi was a force unlike others.  Her perseverance, talent and smarts are unmatched.  Her presence lit up any room and her wisdom controlled it.  I will forever remember her kind words, thoughtfulness and smile. She will live on in our hearts.

I am very thankful for having worked with Mimi. She always had a an extra swing in her step and was always 10 steps ahead. Big hugs Mimi! I will miss you very much!

Dear Cam and Tse family--Our hearts are very heavy to hear you have lost such a dear one.  Mimi's beauty and elegance graced us for a short time, but we will always remember her. My heart-felt sorrow and condolences to Kam and the Tse family.  For many of us who knew and worked with Mimi, I like to think that the Buddhist proverb, "When the student is ready the teacher will appear," sums up my special feelings towards this amazing woman. She was wonderful and the cleverest mentor I have ever had.  She was admired and respected by all.  Knowing Mimi, she is still hovering out there, somewhere, keeping tabs on all of us and nurturing orchids.  Mimi, rest well, you have left behind an incredible legacy.

Dearest Mimi. Your dancing was an inspiration to me 16 years ago when I first stepped foot into Bethesda Dance Studio. I wanted to dance just like you. You were so generous in spirit and kind to all. I will never forget our Dance Bohemian outings and the fabulous zest for life you and Kam always brought to every dance event. You both  helped Arek and I in so many ways while standing up our business. We will never forget you and I will always imagine you doing the Argentine Tango across the heavens. Our sincerest condolences to Kam and family.

Mimi--Oh Mimi, my heart is so sore and heavy! I just learned today that you made your transition and I am shocked beyond belief! We just spoke last week and planned to get together this week after your Yuletide Dance event that you invited me to attend. Thank you for your love, friendship, support, kindness, huge heart and generosity over the decades. I will always love you and remember you and your grace, gracefulness and graciousness on and off the dance floor.
