On July 6, 2012, MARION VERNER of Maryland. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Verner; devoted mother of Janet Verner Platt; sister of Ruth Berger; grandmother of Kenneth, Kathryn and Jocelyn Lambert; great-grandmother of Seth Garmers and Abram Davidson. Also survived by son-in-law, Eugene Lambert. Services will be held at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave. (corner of Harrison St.) N.W., Washington, DC on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. Family will receive friends following the service at the Terrace Room, 5610 Wisconsin Ave., Chevy Chase, MD. A private interment will be held at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Verner Fund for Theater in the Columbian College at George Washington University in Washington, DC 20052 or a charity of one's choice .
