Dr. Doctors was my dentist. I'd been seeing another dentist because of the insurance I was on, and was really excited to go back to see Dr. Doctors. I was shocked to hear the news. He was always interested in what I was doing. He had great big hands and a great handshake, with a wonderful, friendly personality. He was the best dentist I'd ever been to, and I was so sad to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolences to his family, colleagues at Washington Center for Dentistry, and all who knew him. Rest in peace, Dr. Doctors.

I just heard of Marc's passing. I worked for Marc and Randy at Randmark from 1990 until 1995. I have been Marc's friend ever since, He was a great man -  kind, and an outstanding and caring dentist. Marc always had a positive word for me, and I appreciated his decency. He will be missed.

I was so upset when I heard of Dr. Doctors passing. He was my dentist, after Dr. Reardon left the country. He knew how I felt about dental procedures and did not push me to get anything completed right away unless it was absolutely necessary. I will miss him.

I just learned today of Dr. Doctors' passing.  I've been a patient of his for many years, and I extend my deepest condolences to his family.  Dr. Doctors was not only a superb dentist, he was an excellent human being -- always a warm greeting, a friendly smile, a strong (very strong!) handshake, lively conversation, and a really caring attitude toward his patients.  In fact, his entire practice -- one of the finest dental/medical practices I have ever encountered -- was clearly a reflection of his personal values and humanity.  I will miss him a great deal -- and that is not something I would ordinarily say about someone whose business it was to look into my mouth!

To the best dentist I ever had.  I will miss him.

Sending my condolences on the passing of Dr. Doctors.  He was my dentist and I have such fond memories of our conversations about family, beach vacations in New Jersey, weddings, and where to get the best Maryland crabs.  He was an exceptional dentist and an incredibly nice man.  My prayers and thoughts are with his family.

Marc was the dentist recommended to me 37 years ago by several of my colleagues at the Department of Justice.   I thought all his patients were lawyers!  I saw him at least twice a year since then, and he was always gracious, funny and kind.  I am so sorry to learn of his passing and hope that his family  and friends take comfort in the knowledge that he was so well respected and loved.  Kathy Voelker

I babysat for the Doctors at their little rowhouse on 35th ST when a GU undergrad. Who could forget a dentist named Doctors?! Such a nice man...

I was out of the country when Marc passed away. I met Marc at Brooklyn   College in 1964 and became his frat "Big  Brother ". I  remember him looking down at me, always with a big smile, big deep laugh and gentle manner. Marc never changed. His life was taken way too soon and he is missed.

To my friend  and only dentist for 50 years or so, I will miss you.  Marc approached my every dental problem with great enthusiasm and never looked bored.

To the family of my colleague: May you find comfort in the loving memories that Marc left with you. Your are in my thoughts and prayers...

Dr. Doctors was more than just my dentist.  He was a warm, deeply caring friend whose kindness and spirit touched so many lives.  We will miss him more than words can say.

Marc was a good friend for many years. We will sorely miss him.

I hated going to the dentist until I met Marc Doctors.  What a wonderful spirit, so full of delight and life.  He talked lovingly of his family and fun times. And he was a great dentist who really cared about his patients!  He will be missed by all.

I will always remember Dr. Doctors ... his skill, his kindness, and his great stories about his family, his motor cycle trips with his brother, and his love of life.  He took care of me, my husband, and many of my friends.  We all will miss him and remember him.

I met Marc 20 years ago when he began caring for my patients because I no longer could. A warm, funny, self-efacing man. A mensch. The world has lost a very good man.

When I shared with my mother of Dr. Doctors passing she wrote me this "What a special person he was.  Not only was he the best dentist ever, but the nicest person ever.  I will always remember his handshakes felt like being wrapped in a pillow. It was sad enough when we learned he had retired because of health  but now to be completely gone from the earth is too much to bear.  I'll always remember his telling us about the Cyclone roller coaster on Coney Island where he was from."  I too agree.

To the Family of Dr Doctors, 

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Doctors for about 25 years. I saw him several times a year for root canals, caps, fillings. Throughout that time, I have watched his daughters grow through his stories and he watched mine. He is an inspiration, he showed respect to everyone, he touched out lives. My family is deeply saddened by his passing, we will never forget him, no one can replace him.

We will not be able to be with you to celebrate Marc's life,but want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you .We will always cherish memories of Marc's big smile and wave as he drove through the neighborhood,and remember his joy,and pride when asked about his "girls".Our love to all. Desolado con la penosa noticia del fallecimiento de mi muy apreciado Marc.
No he sabido hasta ahora de su enfermedad, lamentablemente.
Hace un par de meses telefonee al domicilio pero no me supe comunicar bien con la persona que sali en lnea, slo entend que no estaban en casa. Y lamento muy mucho no haber reiterado la llamada ms tarde.
Admiro de Marc su capacidad para transmitir vitalidad y alegra, su generosidad y la amistad que me brind. Su recuerdo permanecer imborrable en mi.
Mi sincera condolencia para Mary y toda la familia Doctors.
Acudir el prximo sbado a Washington D.C., desde New Jersey, con los mos, para compartir estos tristes momentos como compartimos, en otros das, ilusiones y circunstancias felices.

I did not know Dr. Doctors but his influence is seen in the face of his daughter Jennifer, with whom I work. I hope the pain of his loved ones will soon be replaced by the warm memories he left them.

Dr. Doctors' kindness, care, and humor  will always be treasured in my heart.

Audrey and I are deeply saddened on the loss of our cousin Marc.  He was a fighter until the end.  His smile and warmth will always be remembered.  
Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,

I was saddened to have heard that Marc lost his battle. His optimism and enthusiasm for life was contagious and I will miss him. 

Marc and the Doctors family will be remembered in our prayers.

Dr. Doctors helped me overcome a long history of numerous drillings, fillings and tooth pullings done with inadequate anesthetic.  I will be forever grateful for him and am very sorry for your loss.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Dr. Doctors. We are all richer by having known him.  I will miss his sincere nature AND great sense of humor (a rare combination)!
