I am saddened to hear about losing Luke. We used to carpool together, and he was such a sweet, unique and gentle person.  My heart goes out to his family.

So sad to hear this news. I have very fond memories from 7th and 8th grade at Blessed Sacrament. He was a good friend then and I only wish I had known him as an adult. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

My heart goes out to Luke's family and friends. I have some wonderful memories from my time at Blessed Sacrament, so many which Luke was part of. He always made me laugh.

Such a sad loss. Luke was such a kind, gentle person.

Luke was such a wonderful friend when we were in grade school together at Blessed Sacrament. We had so many wonderful memories and laughs together and I will miss him.

I  remember Luke,  first,  as a young man with a wall-to-wall smile  and a  polite, warm  salutation that meant  it. I   looked forward to our chance meetings  and chats  because, to put it simply, he was a decent, interesting, young man in  a world difficult to find a place and  meaning. As I followed his life and marriage,  I always wished the best for Luke--he was one of good ones.

Luke was a kind and gentle soul. He was intelligent and thoughtful on almost any topic. He was loving and giving to his friends and family. We shared good years together and he enjoyed travel and new experiences. A voracious reader, a lover of movies, a history buff, and many other wonderful qualities. He made people feel comfortable and could really work a room!

My heart goes out to his whole family. Luke will be remembered with affection and love.

Luke was absolutely one-of-a-kind and I weep to think that I will never see him again in this transient life. Luke was there for me at a very tumultuous, confused and disillusioned season in my youth. He closed ranks behind me at a time when almost no one cared for my company. He had a very gentle and cordial spirit. Luke was an includer in the best sense of that word.  I owe him more than I ever let on.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Luke's family and Renee. My memory of Luke will be his gentle charm. I always enjoyed speaking with him,  because he was so polite, had such a pleasant voice, and could contribute interesting and intelligent facts to any conversation. He seemed to have a light within him that radiated out when he spoke. I could tell that though I did not know him well, he must be a very special person with many more great qualities. I am glad that I had the chance to know him. My heart goes out to his loved ones at this time.

My deepest sympathy to Luke's wife, Renee and his family.  Luke was a generous, insightful, intelligent, fun and easy going young man.  I can't believe we won't see his happy face or hear his voice anymore.  He seemed to always know the answer to obscure questions, so rather than consulting a dictionary or encyclopedia, I would call Luke! If anything needed to be done, without exception he was the first to jump up and help. Oh how I miss him, but I am grateful to have shared the time we had together.  I'll always think of Luke when I look at the greatest gift he could give me... Oliver: the runt of the litter and the most curious, delightful kitty!

To the family and friends of Luke's loved ones,
I had the pleasure of meeting Luke on a few occasions, mostly at my house.  He was first and foremost helpful, gracious, and kind.  He wanted nothing more than to see if there was something he could do to lighten my load.  I knew Luke through Brett, Eileen and David (my family).  I weep for you, Renee, and his family.  Luke was just kind and gentle.  I am truly sorrow for your suffering.  I pray that the Mother Mary holds you in the palm of Her hands during this difficult time and that eternal rest is granted to him O Lord.  Louise
