   Will always cherish the special memories we shared with Papa so many years ago but in many ways seem like yesterday. Those special memories which are ours to keep forever...  My condolences and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am saddened by the news of your father's passing. I had many fun hours working with you all. He loved his family very deeply.

Louie was so king to everyone.  Even though my sisters and I have not seen him for years, we will never forget how nice he was.  My sisters and I were frequent visitors to the Hickory House and we loved the whole family.  This is a very sad thing for the whole Sigalas family and we are truly sorry.

I just now read of your Father's death.  I am so sorry.  He was a remarkable man.  I remember so fondly my years working for him, and for you, at the Hickory House.  He shared beautiful stories of his journey from Greece and his hard work to succeed in D.C.  A true Pioneer. He was fascinating!  One day he called me aside to tell me never to turn away someone who is hungry and had no money.  I will never forget that.  Nor will I ever forget that he, Tony and George gave me a chance to earn extra money when I was a single mother, even though I had no restaurant experience at all.  I still thank you.  While it may have been years since I've seen Louis, I have thought of him often.  I never shall forget his generosity and kindness to all.  With love, Doodie

I remember Mr. Sigalas as I worked in is place of business. He was a very nice and pleasant person to be around with. He will be truly missed. God Bless to him and the family.
