I only just found out about Laura's passing, and I'm so sad and sorry. We were best friends, especially in the fifth grade at Holton-Arms. She spent a wonderful week with me and my family at Bethany Beach, Delaware. We must have been around ten years old. I have nothing but great memories of this kind, lovely person, and wish I had kept in touch with her. 

Laura was my first friend when we moved out to Potomac.  I spent so many fun afternoons after school with Laura, Benjamin and Carroll. The Brundreds were such good  and fine people.  

Laura was always a kind, kind person and by far the most polite and ladylike of our class at Holton. It was always a pleasure to see her in later times.
