Kathryn T Pait

Pait, Kathryn Terry (also Known as Katina or Kathy), age 61, resident of Mineral Bluff, GA, entered into eternal life on December 9th, 2016, after a year battle with cancer. She was born in Washington DC and is survived by her mother Helen Kontos of Brambleton, VA. Her brother, Tom Kontos (Rhonda) of Carmel, IN and niece Alyssa and nephew Theo. Her children Eleni Louh (Nakhleh) of Brambleton, VA and George Kambanis (Andrea) of Mechanicsburg, PA. Loving grandmother to Katerina, Jacqueline, Loren, Alexandra and Madison. She was preceded in death by her father Terry Kontos and husband Major Stacey Pait. May their memory be eternal. The family is forever grateful for all the thoughts and prayers received over the past several months. She was very devoted to her church and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Katina’s name to her church of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church: 217A Peachtree Street, Murphy, NC 28906. Family and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, January 20 at Joseph Gawler’s Sons: 5130 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20016 from 4:00-7:00pm with a prayer service commencing at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 12:00pm at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral: 36th Street & Massachusetts Ave, NW, Washington, D.C. 20007 with a Meal of Mercy following at Maggiano's Little Italy Chevy Chase Pavilion, 5333 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington DC 20015 . The interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
