On Saturday, July 7, 2012, JOHN JOSEPH DARBY, JR. of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of the late Jane Darby; devoted and loving father of John Joseph Darby, III, Maurisa Darby, Alexandra Darby and Christopher Darby; dear brother of Joan Stohlman, Margaret Hurley, Joyce Coyle and Marianne Stohlman; adored grandfather of John Joseph, IV, Gibson, Brennan, Ryan, Sean and James. A visitation will be held at JOSEPH GAWLERS SONS, INC., 5130 Wisconsin Ave., NW (Corner of Harrison St.), Washington, DC on Thursday, July 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Jane Frances de Chantal in Bethesda, MD. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC. The family will receive guests immediately following the interment at Columbia Country Club.
