On February 23, 2012, Georgia L. Atkins of G St. N.E, passed on to Glory. She is survived by many family members and friends. The viewing will be held at Joseph Gawler's Sons Funeral Home, 5130 Wisconsin Ave N.W, Thursday, March 1 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The wake will be held at 10 a.m., funeral immediately following on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Mount Airy Baptist Church, 1100 North Capitol St. N.W.
