Evan Aristides Morris

Of North Potomac, MD died suddenly on July 29, 2011. Born June 29, 1989 in Washington, DC, Evan is the cherished son of F. William and Paula Canelos Morris and beloved brother of Andrew. Loving grandson of Eurydice M. Canelos of Towson, MD, Ellsworth and Barbara Morris of Limestone, ME, and the late Aristides W. Canelos. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends. Evan, a Drexel University senior, loved wrestling, all music, and his dog, Chip. Family and friends may call on Friday, August 5 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at Joseph Gawler’s Funeral Home, 5130 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, 20016. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6 at 11 am at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 36th Street and Massachusetts Ave, NW, Washington, DC 20007. Interment will follow at 2 pm at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cemetery, 5917 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, MD 21207. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Evan A.
