and Bryan Jeffress Malone. Elijah was raised in Silver Spring and Clarksburg,
Maryland. He attended Montgomery County Public Schools and participated in
numerous after school youth activities including basketball, soccer and Pop Warner
youth sports. He had a passion for football which was demonstrated on the field
with the White Oak Warriors and Takoma Park Sharks. Elijah had an infectious
personality and was known for his amazing smile. Because of those traits, his
Warrior family coined him with the nickname “Smiley”.
During his adolescent years, Elijah developed a love for music, which was evident
in his writing and performing skills. Known in the music industry as “Eazy”, he
was able to accomplish the release of various songs and tracks on multiple
streaming platforms, as well as forge relationships with well-known local artists
and producers.
Elijah was a free-spirit who enjoyed traveling and has visited Canada, Cancun, and
Puerto Rico. Elijah lived in the moment, had an optimistic personality, and was
known for living life on his terms. He was extremely affectionate, very outgoing,
personable and especially loved children and dogs. Elijah had plans to own a
kennel and to pursue other entrepreneurial endeavors. As a tribute to his life, on
December 1, 2020, the owners of Marcus’s Hope/Helpers in Heels, LLC located in
Longwood, Florida renamed their fun club to “Eli’s Fun Club”. This facility is an
adult day training center serving persons with disabilities.
Elijah was a part of a large, loving family. He was preceded in death by his
paternal grandfather, Fred Malone and his older brothers Bryan Malone, Jr. and
Marcus Levy. He is survived by his parents, Meta Lim and Bryan Malone; his
daughters, Naomi Malone and Ava Marie Malone; his grandparents, Margie
Malone and Samnang and Bunoan Wu; his siblings, Casey Williams, Alyssa Lim,
Justin Malone, Shane Malone, Shannon Malone, and Zoey (Malone) Mitchell; his
nieces and nephews, Zaniah Levy, Isaiah Baker, Laiya McClees, and Alyona
Malone; his aunts, Courtney Shawn Ray and Maryama Tagoe; his uncles, Avery
“X” Malone, Monorom Wu, and Alonzo Ray; his cousins, Kyndall Hill, Aaron and
Austin Ray, and Azzaan Malone; and his dogs, Sophie, Juice and Louie.
