Clara E. Walke Hall

On May 28, 2014 Clara E. Walke Hall of Washington, DC. Born in New York, NY. She was a graduate of Hunter Colllege. Clara was a research scientist for over 40 years, first at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, then at The National Institutes of Health. She was an avid tennis player and fan. She loved to travel. For over 40 years she was a generous supporter of the Arts through the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Washington Performing Arts Society among others. Devoted mother of Karen L. Hall and Geoffrey M. Hall (Valoree); grandmother of Dominic B. Hall and Nicole Walke Hall; great-grandmother of Mya and Annalise Hall. Memorial services will be held at Joseph Gawler's Sons LLC., 5130 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, DC on Thursday June 5 at 12:30 p.m. Interment private. Arrangements under the direction of Joseph Gawler's Sons LLC, Washington, DC.
