Jane Elizabeth (Martin) Phenix, passed away in Westerly, RI on May 24, 2024 after a long illness / courageous battle with dementia.
She was born in Dumont, NJ in 1943 to Gladys (Theaker) Martin and Eugene F. Martin, Sr. She lived most of her life in Warwick, RI where she raised her children, Robert R. Phenix and Danielle Phenix. Jane loved gardening, music, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her many friends and being at the beach. Most of all, she loved her family and being Grammy to Lucas and Katarina Phenix. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she leaves behind her sister Lois Rioles, brother Thomas Martin and wife Mary, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers George and Eugene F. Martin, Jr.
Visiting hours will be on Saturday, June 15, 3:00-6:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm.
