Born in Harlem, NY, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Carmela ( Portelli ) Bartolo.
Elizabeth had worked in the banking industry in various positions through out her career before retirement.
She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Gregory the Great and was also very active in St. Francis. After retirement, Elizabeth volunteered in the Warwick Elementary Schools as a foster grandmother. She was affectionately known by her students as Nana Liz.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Tara Silverman and her husband Joe of Warwick, Gillian Gardner and her husband John, IIII of Warwick, her beloved grandchildren, Natalie Gardner, George Perretta, Jack Gardner, Jacob Silverman, Ethan Silverman, Eli Silverman, Megan Ferragamo and her great grandson Liam. She also leaves behind her brother Sal Bartolo and her sister Marian Portelli both from New York, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Elizabeth was sister of the late Mary Martinez and Michael Bartolo.
A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 4:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Family and friends may call from 1:00-4:00 pm prior to the Memorial Service.
