Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Alice M. (Kennedy) Coleman and sister of the late William “Billy” S. Coleman and Daniel J. Coleman. She was the loving aunt of Christopher, Daniel and Erica Coleman.
Diane had worked as a surgical technician at Women & Infants Hospital for 29 years. She was a member of the Former Providence Club for the Deaf, Alumni Assoc. of RI School for the Deaf, RI Assoc. of the Deaf, and the RI Deaf Senior Citizens and Int’l Catholic Deaf Assoc, Chapter 57 in Providence. Diane graduated from the RI School for the Deaf in 1968 and the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, CT in 1970.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-7 p.m. with her funeral on Monday at 9 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Mission Church, 70 Church Street, West Warwick. Graveside burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Warwick.
