Paul J. Dallaire, age 77, of Warren, passed away at home on Sunday, February 12, 2023 surrounded by family. Born and raised in Warren, he was the son of the late Ovide Dallaire and Antoinnette (Landry) Lamonde. Paul was the beloved husband of the love of his life, the late Natalie A. (Andreozzi) Dallaire.
Paul and Natalie married in 1966 and settled in Warren to raise their family. Paul loved to create beautiful things out of wood and was a gifted finish carpenter. He operated his own business, Dallaire and Sons for over 30 years. Although retired, Paul continued his craft by beautifying the homes of his loved ones, building and installing kitchens, bookshelves, window frames and wood floors in his sons’ homes. Paul enjoyed Saturday afternoon drives and going to lunch with his sons. He found joy in doing artwork, building puzzles, and playing with his granddaughters, who lovingly referred to him as “Pep.” He had recently found a passion for bird watching and enjoyed identifying the birds that flocked to the bird feeders in his yard. Paul loved clam boils and cold beer. He was a strong, courageous man with a big heart and was known by those who knew him as a gentle giant.
He is survived by three sons, Paul J. Dallaire, Jr. and his wife Amy of Somerset, Thomas J. Dallaire and his wife Angie of East Providence, and Donald J. Dallaire and his husband David Handy of Nantucket; four granddaughters, Carmen, Olivia, Natalie, and Ellie Dallaire; three brothers, Ovide Dallaire of Warren, Robert Dallaire and his wife Ginny of Bristol, Donald Dallaire and his wife Dolores of AZ; best friend John Pinheiro of Barrington, as well as many nieces and nephews.
