Mrs. Cabral was born in Barrington, RI, daughter of the late Ralph Russo and Phyllis (Olia) Russo. Her three sisters, Rose Fragoza, Josephine Mendes and Annie Russo, as well as her three brothers: Angelo Russo, John Russo and Ralph Russo pre-deceased her. She had six nieces and seven nephews.
Mrs. Cabral lived in Warren for more than 80 years. She worked at Collins & Aikmen for 19 years and also spent many years as an employee at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol, RI. After her retirement, she volunteered at the Veterans Home and helped feed patients on a daily basis until it became too much for her. She often times fed three or four patients to whom she became a special friend. Mrs. Cabral always loved people and helped many in need!
Mrs. Cabral and her husband Joseph Cabral owned the Oasis Restaurant in Warren for several years. However, her special hobby was working in her vegetable garden. One might say she was a constant and tireless worker!
