Born in Fall River, a son of the late Manuel and Mary Pereira, Butch graduated from Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, and worked as a Machinist and Commercial Fisherman for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Italian Club and the VFW, both of Warren.
Butch is survived by three children, Dennis Pereira (late fiancée Stacey Santos), Michelle Frates and her husband Scott Parmeter of Middleboro, MA, and Lynnette Duarte and her husband Tod of Taunton, MA; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Troy and Treyson; three great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jacquelyn Paul.
His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 9:30 AM in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River, MA. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
