Loretta Ranieri

Loretta (Botelho) Ranieri, age 81, of Barrington, RI passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at her daughter’s residence in Barrington surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Andrew G. Ranieri whom she missed so dearly after his passing in 1997.

Born and raised in Warren, RI, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Elvira (Luciano) Botelho and was a lifelong resident of Barrington, RI thereafter.

Loretta worked as a Customer Service Manager at A & Z Hayward Jewelry Co. in East Providence, RI for many years before retiring.

Loretta was an avid reader, a talented sketch artist and a true confidante with an abundance of wisdom. She was a strong-willed woman and a warrior until her last breath. She was blessed with a warm heart, and a fire in her soul. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a dear friend to everyone who knew her. She especially loved spending most of her time with family.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Spaziano and her husband Robert of Cranston, and Donna Phillips and her husband Robert of Barrington; her beloved brother Kenneth Botelho and his wife Gloria of Florida; four grandchildren, Collin and Ella Phillips, Chloe and Krystyan Mete as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, RI. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
