William Goldman Murrah

William Goldman Murrah, age 91 died January 11, 2015 at the American House Assited Living in Sterling Heights Michigan. William was born October 20, 1923 in Nortonville, Kentucky the son of the late Chester Arthur Murrah and the late Zena Glen (nee: Smith) Murrah.Wiliam spent most of his young years in Kentucky and later served in the United States Army during World War II achieving the rank of Sergeant. Following his military service he returned to Kentucky and eventually moved to Michigan for Employment with the Budd Wheel Corporation. Mr. Murrah worked and retired as a welder and repairman for Budd Wheel. William G. Murrah was the beloved husband of the late Mary Murrah and is the dear father of Harold (Janet) Murrah. He was the loving grandfather of Lisa Murrah, and the late Angela Murrah. A Cemetery Committal Service will be held January 17, 2015 at Concord Cemetery in White Plains, Kentucky at 10am, with full military honors. Arrangements entrusted to D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 1/2 mile), in Warren, Michigan. Please share memories of William at his memory book above.
