William Stephen Malson "Bill," age 63 of Clinton Township, Michigan, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Bill was born February 17, 1951 in Providence, Rhode Island, son of the late Ben Malson and the late Genevieve (nee: Hartnett) Malson.Bill was raised in Warren, Michigan and graduated from Cousino High School, the Class of 1969. Following high school, Bill enrolled at Central Michigan University before being called to serve his country during the Vietnam War. Bill served in the United States Army from 1971 until being honorably discharged in 1973.Bill was highly intelligent and a gifted thinker. He was the inventor of numerous water treatment and purification products and systems. Bill was the owner and operator, with his wife by his side, of Sulfur Remediation Technology. His work was truly his passion in life.When Bill was not working, he could be found competing and playing darts with his fellow mates around town. He will be forever missed by his many family members and friends.Bill was the loving husband of over 36 years to Dora (nee: Ashcraft) Malson, formerly of Carthage, NY, and was the beloved son of the late Ben and Genevieve Malson. He is also the dear brother to Joyce (Mark) Olstyn, Ellen Malson (James Malone), Ben Jr. (Debra) Malson, Karen Malson, Thomas, the late Nancy Greenlan, and the late Joseph. A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, February 14th from 3pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 5pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Road) in Warren. Memorial donations are appreciated to Bill's family. Please share memories of Bill at his memory book above.
