William Anthony Lasinskas

William “Bill” Anthony Lasinskas, age 71, of Roseville, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Bill was born on February 28, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan to William and Marguerite Lasinskas.

Bill was proud to be a veteran of the United States Army. A true outdoorsman, Bill found solace in the beauty of nature. He spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, and camping. For many years, he belonged to the Detroit Sportsman Congress. When relaxing at home he loved to watch a good movie or a sports game, specifically a Michigan State game. For fun he loved to go to the casinos either here in Detroit or up in the U.P. Family was always the most important thing to him. He looked forward to any time he spent with the grandkids. When his kids were young, he coached them in football. As a foodie, he loved the opportunity to have a good meal with his wife.

Bill is the beloved husband of Tenia Lasinskas. The loving father of William “Billy” Lasinskas, Jason (Katie) Lasinskas, Kirk (Jessica) Lasinskas, Rachel (Andy) Arondoski, Cindy (George) Stauch, and stepfather of Elizabeth Ondovcsik. Cherished grandfather of Connor, Mackenzie, Victor, Kennedy, Scarlett, Xavier, Zelda, Dean, George, Blakeley, Phoebe, and 3 more on the way. Dear brother of Marguerite “Peggy” (Dann) Micielli. Survived by his beloved fur babies, his cats Henry and Molly.

A military honors and burial service for William will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442.
