Tillie Strika, 95, of Center Line, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Father Murray Nursing Home in Center Line. She was born February 22, 1915 in Yugoslavia, the daughter of Blaz and Evan (nee Kovocevic) Iskin. She was united in marriage to Sam Strika in Lukoran, Yugoslavia in 1930 and immigrated with her family to the United States on April 27, 1947. She was a homemaker and a member of the Croatian Club in Warren. She was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Warren. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, reading, sewing and cooking. Tillie is survived by her children, John (Anna) Strika, Reno (Golda) Strika, Zwanko (Jean) Strika and Rosanda Tyrrell; also, 14 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Sam Strika on May 12, 1994. Visitation will take place 3-9 pm Thursday at D. S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover, Warren with Deacon John Skladanowski officiating. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 am Friday at the funeral home.
