Suzanne Martha Madigan

Beloved daughter of the late Austin and Dorothy Nelson. Cherished wife of the late John D. Madigan, Jr. of 43 years. Loving mother of Matthew A. (Shannon), Patrick J. (Rosanna), Timothy J. (Jennifer), Michael R. (Amber), and Kelly L. (Jason) Salamango. Proud Nana of Brady, Jack, Katie, Aubrey, Liam, Molly, Haley, Lacey, Lachlan, Stella, Miles, Quinn, and Finnegan. Dear sister of the late Robert "Duke" (Marie), the late Nancy, Barbara (Joe) Springer, and Kimberley (Ed) Masar. Sister-in-law of William (Marsha), Thomas (Daria), the late Daniel, Patricia Nicholas, and Susan Thiry.

Suzanne leaves behind 15 nieces and nephews. Susy was a graduate of Lakeview High School, Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Art, and Wayne State University with her Masters in Education. She was employed with Grosse Pointe Schools for 26 years where she taught elementary school art. Susy enjoyed flowers and spent her time tending to her meticulously beautiful garden. She loved spending time at her cottage with her family on the Lake Saint Clair Flats. Susy spent her free time attending her grandchildren's numerous sports functions. She had many friends and she will be loved and missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 24th, 2021 at A. H. Peters Warren Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service will follow the next day on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 at A. H. Peters Warren Funeral Home at 10:00am. Interment to take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan directly after. Memorial contributions may be made to the VHL Alliance (Von Hippel-Lindau Disease).
