Susan Marie Stabile, age 59 of Roseville, died Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at home in the company of her loved ones. She was born February 28, 1960 in San Diego, California, daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Rose Theresa (nee: Cracchiolo) Stabile.
Along with being a loving mom and homemaker, Susan spent many years extending the best parts of her giving spirit with each customer she engaged as a restaurant server. With her infectious smile and incredible skills, Susan helped make the joy of eating out a memorable experience for all her patrons over the years. When it came to food, Susan will also be remembered for being quite the consummate cook herself. Responsible for loving mouths to feed at home, Susan knew her way around the kitchen and often created some incredible culinary magic for all to enjoy. Some of Susan’s signature and most requested meals included her tasty pepper steak, stuffed cabbage, lasagna, her homemade chicken noodle soup,…and that delicious appetizer she often prepared, her spinach & artichoke dip. Together with these and a host of the other treats in her food preparation prowess, Susan left many mouths watering with the meals that graced her table. If you left hungry after partaking of her talents, you simply weren’t tryin’! And when it came to Susan’s own personal favorites, two words said it all,…”Pasta & Candy.” Just two of the “staples of happiness” she enjoyed,…they may not have been on the healthy list, but they sure were on her list of “must haves.”
Susan was also known for her love of travel with some of her top spots visited being the diverse American cities of San Diego, Dallas, Chicago, the state of Florida,…as well as south of the border, down in Mexico. Whether it was North or Central America, Susan loved packing her bags and heading out for a little R&R, taking in some scenic splendor, and adding to her travel portfolio of wonderful memories created.
Being a lover of music, another of her favorite pastimes was that as concert-goer, with some of her list of notables including Pink, Seduce, Rhianna, Metallica, Janet Jackson and Stevie Nicks. Though her repertoire was wide ranging, these were just a few of the many entertainers who helped make for some incredibly awesome memories with she and her fellow music fans.
A loving mother and sister (and, soon, would have been Grandma to twins), family meant the world to Susan and there was no greater joy than spending time with her daughters, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews as well. Together they shared some wonderful moments and created some lifelong memories, and Susan was much of the glue that bound them in love. Though she leaves our presence far too soon, it is not without imparting the best part of herself into the hearts and souls of the many lives she touched in her pathway of life. She laughed often and loved much, and leaves a legacy of love that is sure to be embraced with each reflection shared. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally.
Susan was the beloved mother of Andrea (Philip) Tanghe and Angie (Jami) Stabile. Dearest sister of Phyllis Stabile, Mary Jo Burke, the late Leonard (Sherrie) Lindsey, and the late Lawrence (Linda) Stabile. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.
A Memorial Visitation for Susan will be held Friday from 5-9 pm, with a 7pm Memorial Service, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren.
