Grew up with Steve played every sport with him street hockey, wiffle ball, our 3 hole course at Fletcher Field and pool in his basement Worked with him at Temorowski’s Party store and listened to Pink Floyd on his reel to reel We Lost a Good Person Here RIP FUZZ!

I let your sister Mary Lou your wishes. I hope they come true. It seems many are shocked by things but as you and I have shared with each other you don't know until you ask. I apologize I wasn't able to complete the task you asked but Goo you know I would have. I will still be on the 4th tee box at Augusta National Golf Club in 2023, I'll be chipping in at our spot at Chandler Golf Club, Pine Knob lawn section center right for Santana and Earth, Wind and Fire this July 5th 2022.

Go Blue!!! Hail to the victors!!! 

I am glad I had the pleasure to know Steve, he was a wonderful man & will truly be missed by all.  Rest in Peace.


Steve was a loyal and caring friend of mine for last 25 years I will miss you my friend 

Steve was one of  my closest dearest friends . He lived with my family and myself for nearly 20 years. He was a brother an uncle  a son a dear dear friend he help raise our kids to the point there was never a time when he was mentioned he wasn't called Uncle Steve to this day my kids call him that. My heart is heavy and can't put to words what that man meant to me even as we grew apart we would still call or text each other to watch the games on tv make dinner together or just hang out and relax. 
  Steve you are for ever in our family's heart you will never be forgotten  Godspeed  and finally rest in peace

Steve and I roomed together at Ferris for a couple of quarters at the Colburn House it was known as. Many fond memories of hanging at the house, having a beer and composing policy papers together. I would sometimes find Steve a sleep at the typewriter in the morning finishing his 2 pager. A great man and golf professional. RIP my friend. Prayers

Steve and I formed a friendship walking home from St. Clement while waiting for the bus some forty years ago.  It was the first day of school and we ended up walking the entire way from 10 mile to our houses around 6 mile.  We never did catch a bus, but talked about interest in Golf, cars and Rock music.  We became close friends by 12th grade and traveled to Florida in my POS Mustang during Spring break that included a side trip to Arlington Virginia to play golf with a Junior Golf pal in Fairfax.  That was the thing about Steve, his ability to make friends, you just wanted to know him.  As seniors in High School, Steve’s Mom Christine asked us what we planned to do when we graduated.  I had doubts on what I wanted to do, but Steve just said he was going to be a Pro Golfer.  He never doubted his passion and lived his dream.  I love and miss you brother, l send my thoughts and prayers to Marylou, Chris, and your mom Christine.

I first met Steve in 1974 as a fellow junior golfer coming up through the Detroit PAL golf event ranks. We became friends during his NJCAA golf career and remained friends to the end. Steve was a salt of the earth honest and hard working golf professional who would go out of his way to help anyone in need. His golf career was filled with many legendary stories that will be shared amongst friends for years to come. Steve will certainly be missed but he will never be forgotten!

I had the privilege to coach Steve for two years at Macomb College.
Simply put, he was one of the best golfers to ever play there. And nobody ever worked harder!!
Steve and I continued to be friends over the years and although we didn’t see each other often, it was always a great time involving a competitive round of golf (Steve usually won!!!), and burgers, beers, and lots of laughs afterwards.
Steve will be missed by all because of what a good friend he was, always willing to help in any way he could.
You will be missed my friend!


I never knew Steve directly. He was a Holy Name of Jesus legend in his grade school years. I remember baseball star and basketball leader. I was 5 years behind him. But my older sisters and their friends all swooned for him. Years later Chris and I met and got to know each other while he provided live in security at HNJ grade school. The best people, the best family, the (Gene) Selasky family too. Stalwarts of my childhood and Holy Name. Blessings to his entire family in my prayers.

Steve and I played golf together at Macomb College.  He made our entire team better because he was so good!  Our team went to the National Championship 1985.  He is in the Macomb College Sports Hall of Fame.  My parents loved Steve too, he stayed at our home and had  many dinners with us.  He gave golf lessons to my wife and kids.  Everyone he taught excelled!  He was such a good teacher and never charged us enough money for lessons.  We will miss you Fuzz.    

My wife met Goo and we went to Arts Beats & Eats to see Foghat , as we where walking there she said “ Hey Goober am I going to know anything from Foghorn “ ?
Goo said “ yes ! and it’s Goo and Foghat “ 😂

Steve was a very pleasant young man. He gave me some golf lessons years ago and it was a great experience.  He will be greatly missed.

I first met Steve back in the early 90’s when I took my first golf lesson at what is now called Farmington Hills golf club. 
Immediately he understood my swing issues. Steve is an excellent golf teacher. With his instruction, I was able to win the club championship at Royal Oak one year. He was very proud of me! 
 I followed him everywhere he worked in the golf industry.
I am also his hairdresser and I haven’t paid for a lesson in years, and he hasn’t paid for a haircut either, It worked for us. 
He was more then a golf instructor , he was  a  good friend to me, as well as my family.
Steve has been up north to our family cottage several times, once he was able to get us on Arcadia Bluffs golf course for free!  
 I remember one hole there, he was in a bunker that was so deep,  I could barely see the top of his head! He did get out of it though .
I know that golf will never be the same for me, I miss him already.
I hope there are golf courses in heaven,  and he is the head teaching pro. You left us too soon my friend, you will be truly missed.
 





Goo...I don't know where to begin. You were the big brother I didn't have until 1990 when paths crossed. Since that point you have made me a better human. I appreciate your sense of empathy, humility, humanity and compassion for others. I'm so sorry that your higher power took you so fast. I'm glad I got to see you last Friday 4/8/2022. I will miss the talks and about one of your famous lines, Scottie numbers don't lie. GO BLUE!!!

I remember when Steve was young he would walk down the street with his lawnmower to cut the grass short at Fletcher field to make greens so he could practice out there. He was destined to become a golf pro. I took a few lessons from Steve and my game got to be the best that it ever was. I once asked him about his playing in golf tournaments and he said that although he was a decent putter he just wasn’t a great putter and that was what held him back. I have so many fond memories of Steve. He was my best friend! I remember when Steve and I would play golf all day at the park. I was so proud of him becoming a professional golfer. I hope to play again with him someday at Fletcher Park. R. I. P. Fuzz


Sending my deepest condolences to Steve’s family. I knew Fuzz from grade school at Holy Name, he was a few years older but friends with my brother. I remember Fuzz being one of my brothers nicer friends. May his family and friends find peace in their time of grief.

Or our yrs working at Temorowski party store. Would  always look for you at Royal Oak giving Lessons in the Michigan summers and catch up with a brewski
