Sam was born on October 2, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan to his parents Sam and Josephine Scroy.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Barbara Scroy, children Sam, Dominic, Tina, Thomas and Christine. Grandchildren Dominique, Felicia, Riley, Alexis, Raymond, Jenna and Michael. Great grandchildren Mackenzie and Shanell.
Friends may visit the A H Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088 on Wednesday, December 4th from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, December 5th, also at A H Peters Funeral Home where Sam will lie in state from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral service at 10:00 A.M.
