Born in Michigan to the late Joseph and Eleanor Leske/Leskiewicz, Ron made friends wherever he went because of his natural “gift of the gab” some would say, but also his kind heart and the smile he wore to match. Everyone loved to be around Ron; he had a great sense of humor and even though he tended to tell some of his favorite jokes over and over they still made everyone laugh. Most days you could find Ron walking his dog the late Ozzie and the newest addition Zoey, which tended to be long walks because he would stop to talk to the neighbors and made a point to know what was going on in his friends’ and family’s lives. Ron was the kind of guy that always had to stay busy. In his work as a master machinist, he learned all aspects of his craft from analyzing the problem that needed to be fixed, designing the part that would fix the problem, and installing it himself. He loved spending time with his family and friends above all else and they loved him just as much. Everyone would gather around the dinner table or the backyard for a barbeque with whatever Ron was able to throw together from his pantry, which somehow always tasted amazing, for the food and good times Ron brought with him. Ron was a beloved fiancé, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be missed dearly.
Cherished fiancé of Terry Petrusha. Loving father of Pamela Chow, Alison Corbeille, Ashley Lesky, and Brett Lesky. Dear grandfather to Samantha, Daniel, Nicole, Jacob and Emily. Beloved brother of Daniel (Margarete) Leske. Caring uncle of Darren, Brandon, Austin, Sierra, and Chase.
