Rita Grace Wisniewski, age 92 of Warren, died Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Autumn Woods Health Care Facility in Warren. She was born July 10, 1922 in Detroit to Adam and Rose (nee: Makowski) Szczesny. Rita was a longtime member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, singing in the Choir there for many years. She enjoyed boating and an occasional trip to the casino. Rita was blessed with 92 years on this earth and was able to maintain her independence until very recently. She was still driving until a few months ago. Rita was the beloved wife of the late George who preceded her in death in 1994. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son, Mark (Denise) Wisniewski. Visitation for Rita will be held on Tuesday, September 9th from 5-9 pm, with a Rosary at 6 pm, at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd. at Common (12 ½ Mile) in Warren. She will lie in state on Wednesday from 10:00am until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Faustina Catholic Church (formerly St. Edmund), 14025 E. Twelve Mile Road in Warren. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.Please share memories of Rita at her memory book.
