Renate Siegle

Renate was born in Bremen, Germany on December 11, 1940 to the late Karl and Ella (Gadziewski) Pinczak. She immigrated to Montreal, Canada with her parents at the age of 12. On April 5, 1956, she and her parents immigrated to the United States, settling in Detroit, Michigan.

Renate was a proud graduate of the Carnegie Institute, class of 1960, where she became a certified medical assistant. She worked as an EEG Technician at Grace Hospital in Detroit and for several physician’s offices, where she earned the respect of all who worked with her.

Renate married Manfred Siegle, also an immigrant from Germany, on May 19, 1962 in Detroit. Eventually moving to Warren, they built a life together, raised two children, and were blessed with 62 years of marriage. They enjoyed traveling to Florida and spending time at their cottage near Mayville.

Renate treasured the simple joys of life, including flowers and birds. She enjoyed painting and crocheting in her early years to reading and spending time with her family and friends. One of her happiest places was their cottage, where they held many 4th of July celebrations with loved ones gathered together. As a grandmother, she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren with the same love and attention she gave to her own children.

Renate is survived by her loving husband, Manfred Siegle; her children: Marion (Gary) Endres and Ron (Janet) Siegle; her grandchildren: Miranda (Andrew) Endres, Garret (Nikki) Endres, Julia Siegle, and Ryan Siegle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Helmut Pinczak and Karl Pinczak.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 5th from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088. Burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Heart Association and American Lung Association are welcome.

A visitation for Renate will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM.
