Randy John Baisden II, a beautiful soul known to lift the spirits of everyone he encountered, passed away suddenly on Easter Sunday March 31, 2024. Randy was born in Warren, Michigan, to Randy Baisden Sr. and Ronda Pellerito (Baisden). He was born third of four siblings who were always very close. Gone too soon, he spent his brief 33 years spreading love, positivity, and passion for living life to the fullest. He was adored and loved by all who knew him. Randy’s sense of humor and wit will always replay for laughs in our minds.
Randy’s childhood was action packed with lots of sports and outdoor activities including trips up north to Gladwin, pickup basketball, and summer days spent swimming in the family pool. Randy kept himself surrounded with friends, whether they were his own friends or those of his siblings, he was always involved in the action. His childhood home was perpetually bustling, and he was always in the mix. Randy went to the same schools as his siblings did and he graduated from Warren Lincoln High School.
Ambition to succeed and work hard was in Randy’s makeup. He always had a solid job and a side hustle. Eventually, jobs made way to a career and Randy began to seize opportunities and flourish. He got into roofing distribution and worked his way up from warehouse laborer to CDL driver. Next, he was operating cranes, which led to teacher and instructor Randy, now training others as he continued to consume knowledge and grow. A role in the safety department opened at SRS Distribution, Randy applied and was hired. That hiring turned into promotions and eventually landed him the role of Regional Safety Manager overseeing 10 states worth of branches, people, and equipment. He wasn’t even close to done yet either.
As great of a professional and as a person Randy was, his passion as a father shined upon him the most. Emma (14), little Randy (11), and RyLee (3), were the proud father’s lifeblood. His children were always his inspiration and number one priority. They played catch, went to dances and he oversaw bedtime for his youngest. Randy was never not involved to the fullest capacity for his three children. He was as proud of them as they were of him, their “Super Dad”. His older brother Brian and he were best friends. Randy took solace and confided in their relationship, and he spent a lot of time at Brian’s home. As a big brother, his admiration and paternal nature, forged a tight knit relationship with his sister, Kaitlynn. They were very close, and he always looked out for her. Eldest brother Nick and Randy worked together for over a decade. Nick bragged of Randy’s accomplishments at every chance he had. Together they forged significant long-lasting friendships with their work family. Randy and his mother Ronda, that bond was special too. He was her little prince, and her little hellraiser. He kept her on her toes for sure, but really connected and divulged with her. They spent a lot of time just the two of them going out to eat, down to the casino or a concert, and trips up north. A very special connection between mother and son.
Along Randy’s journey of life, he has had many hobbies and interests. His work allowed him opportunities to travel and he was always in some town, in some state, somewhere. He made sure to check out the sights, landmarks, and enjoy the local fare. Randy took beautiful pictures of his adventures that we can look at now and feel his peace with the world through his vantage point. Randy loved and enjoyed many activities, such as playing or watching Sports, enjoying nature, listening to music, kayaking, riding four-wheelers, Detroit Lions Football, comedy, golfing, playing video games, BBQ, bonfires, and his bulldog Brutus. Some other things that brought him peace were riding mopeds with Brian, fishing with his children, and playing backyard games at parties. He liked simple, easy fun and enjoyed cat naps. Randy worked hard then made sure he relaxed with the people and hobbies he was fond of.
Randy’s legacy will live on through his children, Emma Baisden, Randy Baisden III, and RyLee Baisden. Also survived by his parents Randy Baisden Sr. and Ronda Pellerito, siblings Nicholas (Tifani) Baisden, Brian (Amanda) Baisden, and Kaitlynn Baisden. Wonderful Uncle to Brielle, Elliana, Makayla, Courtney, Logan, and Graciela. An endless number of friends and family will carry on his memories as well. God Bless.
