Paul was an exceptional soccer player and he loved his time spent playing for the Carpathia Kickers as a child being coached by his father, and as a young man. Inspired by his father’s coaching and his love for the sport he then coached the Under 30 soccer team through the Carpathia Club. He also enjoyed golfing, hunting, and any time spent outdoors. Paul worked a side business with his close friend Zach Messing, installing and servicing hurricane roll shutters, and awnings that Zach will continue in his memory. Paul had many friends, a wonderful smile, and was a kind and caring person. He was well loved and will be missed by many.
Paul is the beloved son of Adolf and Mary Hammer. The dear brother of Robert "Bobby" (Elisabeth "Betty") Hammer and uncle of Allison (Stephen) Koenke.
An instate for Paul will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, Michigan 48088, followed by a funeral service at 3:30 PM.
